I have an early flight, what time is the earliest I can Check- In?

Our normal check in time is from 2pm onwards. If you have an early flight, you are more than welcome to come directly to Ta Marie’s BnB. We will put your bags in storage until your room is ready if it is not already available. However, in the event the room is ready upon your arrival then you can have access to the room immediately.

What is the latest possible time do I have to Check-Out?

Our normal check out time is before 10am. However, in some cases if we do not have a guest arriving until later in the afternoon then a later checkout is possible by no later than 11.30am. Our maid must have all rooms serviced by 1pm to allow for the days new arrivals. Should you need to leave your bags somewhere before your flight then we are happy to put your luggage in the storage area until you depart later in the day.

Will there be additional charges for a late Check-Out? 

There are no additional charges for a late Check-Out provided it does not exceed 11am. For every hour thereafter a fee of €20 applies. Your hosts will inform you if this is at all possible.

Is your property pet friendly?

No. Guest’s pets are not permitted. 

How far away from the airport is Ta Marie’s BnB?

Ta Marie’s BnB is only 45 – 60 minutes by car from Malta International Airport, depending on the ferry schedule to Gozo. We recommend to allow 30 minutes for any pick up time to get to the airport to allow for traffic congestion, if any.

Are there good local restaurants and bars near Ta Marie’s BnB?

Gozo is a small island with plenty of different restaurants and bars. However, night life as known in major cities is not directly available. Bars and restaurants can be found in every village and are often available in different cuisines as well. Our hosts will love to help you find the right kitchen, food or event for you during your stay.

Is there a local hairdresser nearby?

Yes, there is a good hairdresser in Zebbug just a 5-minute walk. Plenty of other hairdressers are also available in every town and certainly also in Victoria. We are pleased to help you find the right location for any services you require, either spa, hairdresser or nail salon.

I have a food allergy. Can you cater for my needs at breakfast?

Ta Marie encourages you to email any food intolerances ahead of time and she will definitely make sure you are well looked after during your stay.

What time is breakfast?

We serve breakfast between 8am and 10am daily. However, if you have an early tour or departing flight, then will prepare you a breakfast-in-a-bag to take with you. For guests whom have booked “Room Only” (excludes breakfast), we can provide you with a list of breakfast venues on the island nearby.

Is there room service available? 

There are plenty of quality cafes and restaurants close by for lunches or dinner. We are also providing the opportunity of mezze or tapas, some cocktails and drinks and 2 times a week are creating table d’hôte on our rooftop for those who desire to eat in.

Where can we park our rental car?

There’s plenty of FREE on-street car parking bays, all within a 1 minute walk from our front door. Simply park within the white lines.
